Dr. Rodrigo Herrera-Molina is an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at George Washington University. He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedicine from the University of Chile, followed by postdoctoral research and an appointment as a Group Leader at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology in Germany. His work has been funded by the International Society for Neurochemistry, CONICYT and ANID (Chile), as well as by the DFG, DAAD, and CBBS (Germany). Dr. Herrera-Molina investigates synaptic mechanisms relevant to neuronal development and function of neuronal circuits related to associative behaviors.
